About Event

We are proud to welcome you to an exhibition of the Oborisoma style of Japanese pottery, in the atmospheric setting of a beautiful Japanese-style guest house in Balmain. The pottery features unique techniques, such as double-walls on cups that make them practical as well as beautiful. We will exhibit a variety of items, practical for daily use, such as tea cups and pots, sake bottles, and table-ware. All of the items are available for sale, and are one-off pieces made using the traditional techniques by Japanese crafts-people. We hope you enjoy this exhibit of high-quality, authentic Oborisoma pottery.
